1. Introduction

By enrolling in any course, program, or service offered by FinTrainers, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms remain applicable during the course period and even after your access has lapsed.

Wherever the terms “you,” “user,” “student,” or “registered participant” are used, they refer to any individual who has enrolled (currently or in the past) in any FinTrainers offering.

2. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All study materials provided by FinTrainers—including but not limited to:

  • Video lectures

  • Notes and slide decks

  • Question banks, quizzes, and solutions

  • PDFs, summaries, formula sheets, and articles

are the sole and exclusive intellectual property of FinTrainers.

Enrollment grants you a single-user, non-transferable, revocable, limited-time license to access these materials strictly for personal learning purposes.

You agree that:

A. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. Any misuse traced to your account is your responsibility.

B. Sharing materials in any form (physical, digital, screen recordings, downloads, or account sharing) is strictly prohibited.

C. If evidence of sharing or unauthorized use is detected, FinTrainers reserves the right to:

  • Immediately terminate your access without notice

  • Deny any refund (partial or full)

  • Levy charges equivalent to the commercial value of unauthorized users, where applicable

D. You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, upload, download, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from FinTrainers materials, in whole or in part.

Violation results in automatic termination of access.

3. Description and Use of Services

A. FinTrainers provides educational content for professional finance certifications (including but not limited to CFA®, FRM®, and related programs) as per the study plan mentioned on the course page.

B. Course content may be updated, modified, or enhanced from time to time due to curriculum changes or pedagogical improvements. Such updates are covered under these Terms.

C. All materials are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. FinTrainers does not guarantee exam results, ranks, scores, or outcomes.

4. Validity of Access

Access to course materials is valid only until the “valid till” date mentioned on the product page or welcome email, subject to a maximum of 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

Once expired, access will automatically lapse without further notice.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of online education:

  • All course purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable once access has been granted.

  • Online courses cannot be “returned” after consumption or partial access.

To help you make an informed decision, sample lectures, demos, or previews may be provided free of charge. You are advised to enroll only after evaluating suitability.

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Change of mind

  • Time constraints or personal circumstances

  • Lack of prerequisite knowledge

  • Exam postponement or failure

  • Non-usage or partial usage of the course

Payment processor fees, if any, are non-recoverable and borne by the user.

6. In Event of Breach

A. Any breach of account security, copyright infringement, or unauthorized distribution traced to your account will result in:

  • Immediate suspension of access

  • Permanent account termination

  • No refund under any circumstances

B. You may be held financially liable for losses incurred by FinTrainers due to unauthorized sharing or misuse.

C. Serious violations may also be reported to relevant professional bodies or institutions, where applicable.

7. Limitation of Liability

FinTrainers shall not be liable for:

  • Any direct or indirect losses

  • Exam outcomes

  • Technical issues beyond reasonable control

  • Decisions taken by users based on course content

Your use of the platform and materials is entirely at your own risk.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction vested in the courts of Chennai, India

9. Amendments

FinTrainers reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on the website and will apply prospectively.
